Nowhere is this more evident than on New Millennium Dance Party, a 19-track collection that attempts to dabble in every different dance style of the '90s, from the glitzy coked-out grooves of Stereo MC's and EMF to Jason Nevins' remix of Run-D.M.C., Moby's "Bodyrock," Olive's trip-hop "You're Not Alone," and the big beat of Fatboy Slim's "Right Here Right Now." Really, all that's missing are selections from the Chemical Brothers and the Prodigy, but it says a lot that this collection is so damned entertaining that they're not missed at all.
