Maybe this is due to the relative newness of the music in terms of its place in history, but make no bones about it: The new jack swing sound was unique for the brief period of time it ruled the airwaves. This compilation pulls together many of those anthems, and while there's some filler, there's also many a classic so one can easily forgive the filler inclusion. Some of these monster jams include Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative," Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison," and Mary J. Blige's "Real Love."
