Seller's Description:
Good. No Stock Photos! We photograph every item. spine creasing, light edge wear. circa 1970 reprint. Fawcett M1693. A novel about Communist infilitration into New York business, social, and academic life.
While I really enjoyed MacInnes' WWII novels and many of her cold war novels, Neither Five Nor Three is neither a good sermon, nor a good story. This is about the first she wrote on the cold war theme, and I think she was trying to find her footing in a world where the good and bad guys are difficult and complex.
I think she did a better job in her later cold war novels but this one is just pasable.
