The sequel to Narrow Dog to Carcassonne, this gives an experience of the coastal southeastern United States as seen by a retired British couple and their whippet Jim on their English narrowboat (vide YouTube). To this native of the Pacific coast it is a perspective on an unfamiliar land and unfamiliar peoples. Enjoyable writing, no small bit of humor, some poetry and quotations; a bit less creative than its predecessor, it is still a very nice lockdown read.
