Seller's Description:
Cover Art by Tom Barber. Very Good. No Dust Jacket As Issued. Minimal shelf handling; The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, even age-toning with minor darkening on some of the outer edges. Carefully read, hint of a spine crease; used book store stamp inside. Not all of Robert Bloch's Cthulhu Mythos stories are included here—about five or six were added in a later edition. However, this collection showcases the best of his Mythos work and is a must-read for Lovecraft enthusiasts. Bloch, the youngest member of the Lovecraftian Circle, wrote many of these tales in the late 1930s for Weird Tales magazine. They reflect a young writer still honing his craft, who would eventually evolve beyond his Lovecraftian influences and develop a more modern style, as seen in Psycho.
