Not really inside the mind. . .
. . . more like a report of the observed facts. I am an American, so the memory and furor of the Moors murders is not my experience. I am the approximate age of the victims, which brought a certain perspective to the book. My purpose for reading it was to discover the psychiatric diagnosis of Myra Hindley and there wasn?t much of what I was looking for - - just a few pages.
My curiosity was piqued by the movie Longford. I don?t typically read books about crime, murder and psychos so I am afraid I can?t offer much of a comparison. I found the description of life in Hindley?s neighborhood quite detailed and surprisingly bleak.
