Seller's Description:
Very Good in Near Fine jacket. First edition. Slight discoloration to the front board, remainder mark, very good in in a very good minus dustwrapper with an internal tape repair to a 2 inch closed tear. By the son of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.
The author of this book is insightful and even-handed and makes no effort to sugarcoat his parents' personalities, characters or life events, or those of his siblings. The book is also very well-written and absorbing. Highly recommended historical biography. I was suspicious of the book's seriousness when I saw it was published by Playboy Press-- it sounded like it would be a sensationalized, lightweight memoir-- but it was not.
