Books by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg

Children's Fiction Done Right
This book, and the series of books that followed it, changed my life. At the age of eleven, I checked this book out of the local library, and I have been reading ever since. Angela Sommer-Bodenburg has a gift of telling a story in a way that is easy to understand for a child, and also encourages the imagination to soar, and create new adventures for the characters in your mind. After reading the three books in the series that the library had many times, I spent hours imagining what might have happened next. Now, almost twenty years later, I have begun to put together a collection of her books for myself. They are every bit as enjoyable to read now as they were then. If I ever met this author, I would thank her. Thousands of hours of reading - history, fiction, and poetry all started with this book in a small town library years ago.
