A huge national bestseller--soon to be a major motion picture from United Artists--this is the sensational story of an American woman who accompanies a remote tribe of aboriginal people on a four-month "walkabout" through the Australian Outback, a region that has remained virtually unchanged for 50,000 years. "A powerful book".--Marianne Williamson.

When you are ready, IT shows up
It is said all things show up in your life when you are ready. Even though book was written in 1994 here it is 2012 and it was the talk of a meetup group so ordered it. If you are called to it, you will find it insightful. A "walkabout" is what we are all doing in life.

Amazing book that everyone should read
This is one of my all time favorite books. The Aboriginal culture is the most facinating and deep culture that still exists. This book portrays a Western women's jouney when becoming part of an Aboriginal tribe. You learn with her how this universe works from the oldest living inhabitants. I highly recommend this book to everyone young and old.

Love it!
Very well written and a great story, though somewhat unbelieveable - love this one! I learned lots about the tribal life in Austrailia.

A "Walk About" inspirational book
This is the third set of Marlo Morgan books I have purchased for the purpose of exposing more people to this wonderful story.
Amazingly these books are on their own "Walk About" and I have been blessed with new friendships, souveniers and information into these wonderful people.
These books are not to be left on the shelf, but in the hands of people who appreciate this Aborigine Culture.
