Trumpism developed the art of vilification. Just as the white settlers stigmatized Native Americans as savages, the Trumpists, including Trump and his men and women, brand Muslims as terrorists. The very word terrorist has turned synonymous with Muslim militant. The Neocons promoted wars against Muslim countries, particularly in the Middle East. Unfortunately, many autocratic Arab rulers, fearful of their own fragile regimes, sided with the Neocons in branding Muslim militants as vicious terrorists, thus discounting the rationale of liberation movements in occupied Muslim lands. The Arab rulers who supported the struggle for liberation and the right of self-defense were overthrown and murdered.
