The setting is post war 1947 to 1954 when the British were running a joint venture with the Russians to build the worlds first ever nuclear power station and various countries including the British were assessing yields from the explosions of independent nuclear devices. This mission becomes personal when it intertwines with her previous experiences in World War II as a S.O.E. agent.
