Not gripping, but.......
This is the sort of book to read in bed. It isn't one which will keep you so gripped that you have to stay awake until 3 a.m. reading, nor will it distrub your sleep with the excitement of it - but it's good, solid English-village reading. Not quite as many bodies as Midsomer Murders, but enough to make you want to keep going until the end. It's promising enough to make you want to try the rest of the 7-day series.......
