At the same time an old-timer in Ojai has received a threatening package, dredging up a 40 year old murder case in the process. As if the new cases are not enough, McAllister is challenged at a party to look into the oldest unsolved murder in Ventura's history, the burning of a woman tied to a tree over-looking the city in the 1970's.
