Oh wow I loved this book so much! I have been intrigued by law and history for a while now so when I saw this book I knew it would be the perfect book for me. I have learnt so much about the history of murder cases and the laws surrounding it which I have found fascinating. I loved learning about how certain murder cases changed the laws around murder and manslaughter, as it was fascinating to learn about the origins of different laws. I also loved how the book included images in the middle of the book to help me visualise some of the settings and people described throughout. I liked how the book was fast paced and didn't dwell on certain cases or people for too long which enabled me to stay intrigued and interested for the full duration.. I have already recommended this book to many of my friends and family members and they are very intrigued too.
