Munson Marvels children books explore the life of a family with stories inspired by real life events that have occurred throughout their adoption journey. These stories touch on topics about adoption, self identity, family matters, race and ethnicity. These children books are written to help create awareness and educate adopted children, as well as, family and friends about situations they may experience in life. This second book is written from the daughter's perspective and how she feels about her adoption journey and life. All that matters to the daughter is that she wants to look like her adoptive family and her friends. During a family dinner, her parents and brother try to help teach her how to feel proud of the way she looks and that everyone looks different. The daughter soon realizes that she doesn't need to look like her adoptive family and friends to fit in and feel beautiful. *Part of the proceeds from this book will be donated to the Center for Living Arts, a local theater that has programs for children. This theater was created as a place for people to come and express themselves creatively and a place where everyone can be a star!
