This book was comissioned by the US Park Service for the Bicentennial. Mauldin wrote the descriptions of the significant "players" of the Revolution, and also drew depictions of the common Revolutionary foot soldier. I was quite familiar with Willie and Joe, and this book while short in length offered great depictions. I was quite happy with it.
