Cute but not the book
This modern version of the book was funny and entertaining to my students. It did not capture the uniqueness of the book. The hollywood version is more "modern" complete with broken family trying to get back together, comic inept dad and all together mom. The close family group in the original is not to be seen. Totally unbelieveable but enjoyable.
