Despite his eccentric descriptions, Fischer again puts the Sinfonietta through its paces in another stellar, energetic reading of these four infrequently performed symphonies. Fischer uses the polished technical abilities of the orchestra to his full advantage and chooses tempos that are generally quick and playful throughout, breathing new life into the program.
