Fine, bright example in fine slipcase. Belmore Browne (1880-1954) was an American artist best known for his paintings of Alaska, the Northwest and the Canadian Rockies. He joined a number of mountain climbing and exploration expeditions including the first ascent of Mt. Wshington. He tried three times to climb North America's highest point, Mt. McKinley, falling short each time.
