Author, Abdellilah Benarafa was born in Sala, near Fez, the centre of mystic culture in Morocco. A graduate of the Sorbonne, he is now a cultural advisor on various subjects of literature and the humanities. He has published several books in Arabic, French, and Spanish, including 6 novels in Arabic. This one was written to bring home the human aspect of the Andalusian culture. Translator, Dr. Abdulwahid Lu'lu'a was formerly the first professor of English Literature in the University of Baghdad, Iraq.
