I bought this book for a Motivational psychology course. The course was meant to be cognitive based. It didn't take me long to realize the book was quite biased. I had never seen a psychology textbook make such judgements on moral issues. I started questioning the accuracy of the textbook when it seems to be personal religious views of the author were being placed in an academic text.
