I loved this stories as a child. I would read them to my sister all the time and the stories would scare us both. There's one story that I always seem to remember. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but the story is about a lady who finds a toe and she uses that toe to make soup. Then when she's sleeping, the owner of that toe wants it back. That story always scares me. Just the way its written and what happens always sends chills down my spine. That is one of my favorite stories from that collection. I recommend this book for any person of any age that wants to be scared or get goosebumps.

Twisted
This is dark and twisted, but still child friendly. This is intended for kids who like scary things. The stories do deal with death and dead bodies. There is even a few ghost tales. Its a great introduction into horror for a child.
