This book helped me understand the nature of money. Greco devotes a few short chapters outlining how central banks (the government) controls interest rates in an unorthodox way. He then explains how scrip ( non governmental money) has been used in the past and present along with a theortical framework for future possible applications. Greco shows how scrip could be a breakthrough for Social activists/community service leaders. Any organization could potentially issue script.
