Da aber Externe grunds???tzlich keine andere Informationsquelle des bilanzierenden Unternehmens haben, sind sie umso mehr darauf angewiesen, dass ein m???glichst getreues Bild der Verm???gens-, Finanz- und Ertragslage ver???ffentlicht wird. Da der Jahresabschluss vergangenheitsbezogen ist, diverse Bilanzierungs- und Bewer-tungswahlrechte sowie das Vorsichtsprinzip und eine grunds???tzliche Interessens- und Informationsasymmetrie bestehen, scheint es unwahrscheinlich zu sein, dass eine rein objektive Urteilsbildung gew???hrleistet ist. Die traditionelle Bilanzanalyse mittels einzelnen, oder in Verbindung stehenden Kennzahlen ist zwar f???r die Auswertung und Komprimierung der zur Verf???gung stehenden Informationen und in einem Mehrperioden-, Soll-ist- oder Branchenvergleich f???r die Erkennung etwaiger Trends sehr sinnvoll, l???uft aber Gefahr durch die soeben angesprochenen Schwachstellen zu falschen Schlussfolgerungen zu f???hren. Die Aussagekraft von Kennzahlen kann des Weiteren durch die subjektive Entscheidung des Analysten in Bezug auf ihre Auswahl und Gewichtung verf???lscht sein. Bestehende Unternehmensrisiken lassen sich auf Grund dessen nicht zwingend ableiten. Dies versuchen moderne Ans???tze der kennzahlengest???tzten Bilanzanalyse auszugleichen und stellen somit eine Erweiterung zur klassischen Bilanzanalyse dar. Mit Hilfe mathematisch-statistischer Verfahren soll ein objektiveres Ma??? zur Beurteilung des Fortbestandes eines Unternehmens gew???hrleistet werden.
