Captivating Story
This book held my attention and I had difficulty putting it down. I enjoyed all the 'vignettes' he tells about his time as the meteorologist measuring winds out in the desert. This first book lays the foundation for the later two and demonstrates through his behavior and choices the most effective way to interact with the 'others'. (Editorially there are many errors but the story is so gripping I was able to ignore them.)
