Handwritten notes cover much of the front end-papers and continue to the verso of the ffep (facing the title page) and there are a few pencil marginal/text marks although the book is generally in very good and clean condition. Blue cloth boards, lightly rubbed at the edges, with some wear at corners. Gilt spine titles clear and bright. Following the introduction, the book is in parts: 1, Microscopy; and 2, Micro-technique with a section on the Normal and Abnormal eye with hints on the care of the eyes.
