When sociologists point to what helped create the Satanic Panic of the 80s, this book is always in the top 5 reasons.
Missing from the book are any mention of Michelle's two sisters.Would it be possible for both of them to not only escape the abuse themselves but also miss that their mom was a crazy satanist? Also missing is any mention of Dr Pazder and Michelle each left their spouses for each other.Pazder was also one of the many 'satanic experts' called in for the McMartin Preschool circus/trial. This book is what made him an expert.
To date there has been no corroboration of Michelle's statements of ritual abuse other than the 600 hours of therapy through hypnosis performed by her now husband.
Someone riddle me this: how can a 'satanic cult' have an 81 day non-stop ritual at a cemetery that is surrounded on three sides by residential communities? How is it that during this 81 day non-stop ceremony Michelle wasn't absent from school? DId the scary satanists let her go to school during this ritual?
Just because it's printed on paper doesn't make it true. The truth came out soon after the book was published but it didn't make for great ratings on daytime talk shows like fear mongering and pandering to the sheeple who fear satan is behind everything they don't like.

Michelle Remembers
It is incredible to think that these things are happening today and are increasing at an alarming rate. It makes you wonder how anyone can love evil to such an extent as to commit such atrocities, especially against children - and one's own children at that. I can hardly wrap my mind around it.

my first book
i am one of those people that have only read one bool in thier life. this was it. i still love the book to death. have i read it again? no. cause its like reading a book after you see the movie. it was about 5 years ago i ran into this book at the library. i was about 16 then and looking into some ocult stuff. i found this book and it realy taught me the 'other' side of life. ive tried to read other book, but the plateau was to boaring and i always quit. this was the only one that ive read cover to cover. the details and storie from michelle are horrifying, i wont lie. but man o man is it ever interesting. i live in canada my self and to know somthing like that happened in my countrie is mind boggling. its a must read. i guesse i loved it so much that the details were verry grafic.
