This record is full of huge sounds and earthy tones.
The sounds of a bunch of musicians are on this record, Xylophones, Strings, Horns, exposed guitars, Pianos, the super-classic vocal trio Mountain man.The songs sound like Big Sur (where they recorded the album), jagged edges and stark drops. It's a subtle record but one with new sounds and edges around every corner if you search for them. Some of my favorites on the record, Anti-pioneer, Comfort me, Cicadas and Gulls. A record for giant landscapes, breakups and Hikes ya'll. hike life.
