This book provides an excellent chance for the reader to hop into the cockpit, pull up a chair in the pilots bar, or hunker down in a bunker with the Britt's recon. pilots at war. The reality of the competative nature between the allied forces, the Aussies, Britts, and the rest, added an appreciative flavor to the daily and dry routines when Geoff was on the ground. I also enjoyed the philisophical approach that Geoff uses to reveal his own sensativities. I enjoyed the change of pace from this period in history.
