Seller's Description:
None. Very Good. The third impression of this personal biography of Galsworthy. It is illustrated with tissue guarded frontispiece and further tissue guarded plates throughout. Paper vellum spine with gilt titles and green cloth boards. "Although this little memoir gives a slight outline of my brother's life, it lays no claim to be called a biography in the usual sense of the word. I have merely tried to record my personal impression of his character, as briefly and simply as possible." from the author's note. Paper vellum spine with gilt titles and green cloth boards. There is some mild wear to the extremities including some rubbing to the edges and bumping to the corners. There are a few spots on the spine and the cloth is lifting on the rear board. Both covers are firmly attached. The binding is tight and firm although a little strained in the centre. Internally the book is generally clean and bright apart from mild spots in places. The pages are uncut as called for. One of the plates is detached but present. Very Good.
