A tender memoir of an eventful life
Agathe Von Trapp grew up with cooks, governesses, laundresses, and gardeners, then fled Austria with her musical family to the United States. The family found a new life there: touring on a very limited budget and cooking for 80 guests at the Trapp Family Music Camp in Stowe, Vermont. Agathe Von Trapp describes both lives with warmth, humor, and serenity.
