Very Good- No Jacket. 8vo-over 7 3/4"-9 3/4" Tall Two volumes bound in original brown cloth with gilt spine titling, decorations stamped in blind to boards, 8vo, 260 & 278pp. A complete account of a Journey to Europe completed by the author in 1837. Author's introduction indicates that this edition was the "first" separate publication in a connected form, of the whole of these Memoranda". Earlier editions were incomplete in the author's estimation. Extremely scarce. (Wear and fading to cloth, corners and tips worn/bumped, foxing and browning to text and edges, small hole stabbed through vol. I to page 29).
