She went in to check on her in her room approximately 1 hour ago and found her minimally responsive on her bed with a large 1,000 tablet bottle of 500mg APAP lying on the floor next to her. The patient did have some vomit on her shirt that contained pill fragments. After obtaining an appropriate initial work-up the patient's labs show an elevated acetaminophen level, an anion gap metabolic acidosis, an elevated lactic acid and normal AST/ALT levels"--
