The proposed book is intended to: describe the nature and origins of QoL measurement per se, and patient-centred measurement generally explain how questionnaire-based measures can assist providers and researchers to develop better healthcare services reveal how to locate patient-centred tests, and assess if a given test is suitable provide a step by step method for developing a new test, using a practical, experience-based approach illustrated with examples from the authors experience in forming instruments that are currently in use. No currently published book does this. Written by a highly regarded international player in the field who is used to teaching health professionals so knows their needs.
