Near Fine in Near Fine jacket. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. The first title written by Mark C. McGarrity (1943-2002) under the Gill pen-name. The series of cases solved by McGarr and his Dublin Murder Squad eventually reached 22; several were re-issued under differnet titles (to what end this, is another mystery). This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Turquoise cloth binding with silver titling on the spine. Clean text; 185 pages. A few scattered spots on the top edge, and very subtle hints of sun around the margins, else a Fine copy. The dustjacket is unclipped, with slight darkening to the rear panel. In an archival plastic protector.
