This book, written 20 years ago, is as relevant and accurate today as it was when published. Evidence-based concepts introduced by Dr McDougall have only been further confirmed by newer research. Drugs may change, but truths about human nutrition are enduring. The chapter on osteoporosis is the clearest treatise on the disease I've seen. I only wish the author would publish a new edition, because many people aren't going to read a book this "old."
