Used-Good in Very Good jacket. 1991 Hardcover 1st edition Bishop Museum Press book in good condition. Teal colored cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. The front hinge is exposed. Foxing as usual. DJ is in very good condition with some foxing on spine and flaps. no tears. A note of provenance is included stating a personal relationship between the former owner and Dietrich Varez, the author and illustrator. Varez was a longtime resident of Hawai'i island before his passing in 2018. That is where our bookstore is located.
