I knew this book since a few years. Now I decided to have a personal copy. Yes, it is intended mainly for writing mathematical papers, but right now I an using it for writing my physics notes, which means including a lot of graphics. And I am beginning to use it as a support for writing my family history, some 300 pages full of photographs. It works because I learned how to make the required adjustments. There is plenty of stuff for anybody.
