The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1970 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The price has been clipped from the DJ flap. The dust jacket shows a good amount of edgewear (No Chips). I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

Paul Huson's book is filled with fantastic tips and recipes, methods and etc. that a long time magician or with will enjoy. The history of witchcraft as he proposes is very judeo-christian based, so I guess this not such a "traditional" witchcraft book as it proposes. There is a LOT of ceremonial magic in this... particularly in the use of tables, squares, spells, and even tool consecrations (you will see). There is Wicca in it, particularly in the deities and beliefs mentioned.
I think this book explains many darker aspects of magic not mentioned in other books on witchcraft or "wicca", it is a great reference and has tons of useful information and drawings in it. However it is more of a collection of ceremonial magic and wicca that traditional witchcraft. Some of the language is sort of witty and playful, and if you can get past that and the disinformation you will find a very valuable book in your hands.
