I purchased this as a gift....

but kept it for myself. I like the size. It is a little big for a purse but it lays open nicely for writing in. It has a red elastic band to keep it closed and lined pages in a pale blue ink. I use it as my book journal. But it is really perfect to reflect in about food oriented events. I would give it to a person that loves to cook, it would become a favorite gift especially with a couple of special cooking utensils. The price is very low for this lovely book. The cover is not girly-girl so would be useful to a man who enjoys cooking too.
