What do you need to be to command the biggest oil tanker in the world? A colossus with a huge pair of lungs to shout across decks the size of football pitches at your unruly crew? The Chairman's nephew? Captain Donald Hindle was none of these things when he became Master of the 'Globtik London' - then the biggest ship afloat. In fact, the Grammar School boy from Lancashire has had weak lungs all his life, and they were nearly the death of him on more than one occasion.
