Red cloth with gilt lettering and black/green/buff decorations on front board and spine and gilt top edge. Small spots of damp damage to front board cloth in corner. Spine a bit faded; lettering very dull. Front hinge cracked and repaired. Tissue guard torn and browned, staining title page. Some stains on page edges and endpapers. A few scattered pages badly foxed, but most pages clean and tidy.
