I purchased the Book "Maria's Comet" because my children were studying space in school. It is a beautifully illustrated book that is full of imagary and language kids will really respond to. My kids are in 3rd and 1st grades (both boys) and this book really opened up discussions about astronomy (especially the history of astronomy), space, constellations and even life in the 1800's. It was much shorter than I had anticipated when I ordered it, however it was so well written and sparked so much creative thinking in my children that it didn't matter. It will be a book we are sure to read again and again.
