Die vorliegende Studie ist der Bericht eines Graduiertenstudios, das von August bis Dezember 2022 an der School of Planning, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP), University of Cincinnati, USA, stattfand. Ziel des Studios war es, die Studenten darauf vorzubereiten, im Ausland in datenarmen Umgebungen als professionelle beratende Planer zu arbeiten. Die 14 einheimischen und internationalen Studenten arbeiteten in Teams auf Sektorebene an einem 5-Jahres-Umweltplan f???r Casablanca, Marokko. Dieser wichtige Hafen hat eine lange und faszinierende Geschichte, die sowohl architektonische Sch???tze als auch die ???berreste eines glorreichen, aber umstrittenen Weges umfasst. Als gr??????te Stadt und wichtigster Hafen der nordafrikanischen Maghreb-Region leidet sie unter Armut und ernsten Umweltproblemen wie schlechter Luftqualit???t, Verkehrsstaus, Wasserverschmutzung und unzureichender Abwasser- und Sanit???rinfrastruktur.
