It's not exactly a who's who of downtempo club/dance music circa 2003, but it does hold an edge over many of the chillout-themed compilations. On the minus side, it's not as if most of these songs haven't been presented several times over -- for instance, at last count, Faze Action's Brazilian house tune, "Samba," has been included on a dozen other compilations. And, as it goes with most highly fashion-oriented discs like this, there's a hint of smug cosmopolitan-ness in the air.
