Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez has always been a great escape read (you know wanting to just check out for a couple hours she's the writer for you) but with her newest book she breaks her mold and goes for the gold. This book is more intricate then her others. The characters are much more complex and remind one of people they know and connect with in every day life. This is a book I truly didn't want to end!! I would suggest anyone wanting a good read should get this book!!
