A very easy read but genuine heart. A critical time when the U.S. was able to back down on military expenditures because a deeply unsatisfied Soviet pilot brought us their fastest, highest flying plane -- but exposed to the US its fallibilities it wasn't good for much else - strategically or tactically. A bare-naked look behind the Iron Curtain and its plethora of lies. When the pilot sees the plenty in the US, it takes him awhile before he realizes the CIA isn't faking a show of plenty to propagandize him.
