I never knew much about transgendered peopel before reading this book. Due to my religious views I had to force myself to read this book objectively and it is very well-written. The author does an excellent job at being concise and shows how being transgender can affect not only the person living that lifestyle, but those around him or her. I was fascinated and kept reading because it was a great story. After reading this book, you may gain a new perspective or a more expansive one on this topic. It is a book that I would recommend for book clubs because it will open up discussion (or debate) and will cause a memorable reading session. Great book.
