Size: 8vo-over 7.75"-9.75" tall; 1st Edition hardcover in green paper covered boards with gilt title on spine, dedicated author's signature, "For Bing" on FEP, head and foot of boards lightly sunned but title still visible. Spine upper tips lightly brushed but lower tips remain sharp. 84pp text is tight and brightly illustrated with negligible handling soil, a couple of dog ears, but text still visible. No writing or highlighting inside. Original unclipped dj is in very good condition with negligible surface soil displays well in new mylar. Lucy and her pony, Peterkin live on a farm in Wiltshire. Their best friend is Eric, who was a pilot during the war and who now as a hobby, flies a Hastings bomber. One day Lucy falls by accident into a huge storage bin full of grain and is almost sucked into the furnaces that dry the barley.
