A group of friends struggle to deal with changes -- some expected, some traumatic -- in this independent drama from filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung. Alex (Richard Harvell), Jason (Kenyon Adams), Karen (Megan McKenna) and Mark (Daniel O'Keefe) have known each other for years, and every summer the four of them head to North Carolina, where they rent a house on the beach and enjoy a week of sun and relaxation. Karen and Mark have recently gotten married and are considering having a baby, while Alex is finishing med school and plans to ask his girlfriend to marry him. But it's Jason who has the most dramatic news -- he's been diagnosed with a virulent form of cancer, and while he's undergoing chemotherapy, chances are good he won't be around if the group makes the trip again next summer.
